SUMMARY:PHP Oxford meetup
DESCRIPTION:This month is another video meet-up. We will be joined by Zvoni
mir Spajic with his talk "Hexagonal Architecture Demystified".\n\n"When st
arting to learn Hexagonal Architecture\, you can get easily overwhelmed by
all the articles and lectures because they often include a much broader v
iew of the Hexagonal Architecture than the on originally proposed by its a
uthor. This view often mixes Hexagonal Architecture with other architectur
es and approaches like Layered Architecture\, CQS\, CQRS\, and so on.\n\nI
n this talk\, we'll get back to the original idea as proposed by Alistair
Cockburn but also take a look at how it can be combined with other archite
ctures and why is it so popular."\n\nIf you'd like to present a lightning
 talk (5-20 minutes)\, please get in touch!\n\nRefreshments & sponsors\n\nI
 n the olden days\, we'd have a physical meet-up and Refreshments (drinks a
nd snacks) would be provided courtesy of our sponsors Haybrook IT (https:/
/haybrook.co.uk/). Despite not being able to take advantage of their gener
osity\, we continue to thank Haybrook and our other sponsors Invitial (htt
ps://www.invitial.com/) for their support\, and to OCFI for use of the ven
ue.\n\nCode of Conduct\n\nPlease note that this meet-up is covered by our
 code of conduct (https://github.com/phpoxford/code-of-conduct/blob/master/
code-of-conduct.md). We request that all attendees abide by the code of co
nduct at all times. Thank you!\n\nhttps://www.larachat.co/meetings/php-oxf
