SUMMARY:April 2020 - Panel on Working Remotely (Virtual Meetup)
DESCRIPTION:A special PHP Dublin event\, we're going to try our first remot
e meetup!\n\nWe're holding a Q&A panel on working remotely. Working remote
ly is now the status quo with the onset of coronavirus pandemic\, but how
does it work\, what problems can people face and how can we overcome? That
 's why we're holding a Q&A session on this very topic!\n\nWorking remotely
requires a change in how we work and how we communicate\, so our goal is
to discuss these changes and also offer advice to those struggling with th
e shift. We'll discuss the pros and cons of working remotely and how to ma
ke the most out of it.\n\nWe'll have four attendees to the panel\, each wi
th a different perspective on working remotely:\n- Joao Paulo V Martins (@
jpvm): Technical Lead (acting as facilitator)\n- Bruno Ricardo Siqueira (@
brunoric): Software Development Manager at HubSpot (managing remotely)\n-
 Barry O Sullivan (@barryosull): Contractor/Consultant\, 5+ years working r
emotely (working as part of a remote team)\n- Diana Arnos (@dianaarnos): S
oftware architect and developer\n- Oleksandra Pishcheiko: QA engineer at D
istilledSCH\n\nThis meetup will be broadcast via Zoom and a live Youtube s
 tream. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JiYV_COaiI\n\nWe'll also take ques
tions from the audience\, so if you're having any issues with working remo
tely\, feel free to ask and we'll address it in the meetup.\n\nTo support
this event and get some initial insights from the audience we kindly ask e
veryone interested to answer the survey below. It is totally anonymous and
there are just 6 quick questions to answer!\n\nhttps://forms.gle/cY8T7afm
